The Research Board coordinates the research work done by the various branches and departments of the Art Museum of Estonia. The Research Board meets at least twice a month, based on the chairman’s invitation. The Research Board’s competence includes approving the plans for the Art Museum of Estonia’s exhibitions, conferences and publications; coordinating the work for the Proceedings of the Art Museum of Estonia; as well as the coordination of research-based collaboration with other museums and research institutions.
