Kumu’s exhibition They Began to Talk explores the connection between the body and the environment
Kumu Art MuseumFrom 7 February, the Kumu Art Museum’s Contemporary Art Gallery will host the international group exhibition They Began to Talk. The exhibition brings together the practices of artists working in Estonia and other Baltic countries with those from Indigenous communities in the Nordic countries, exploring the possibility of recovering and cultivating a sense of reconnection between body and land.

The second part of Hilda Kamdron’s exhibition opens at the Kumu Art Museum
Kumu Art MuseumStarting 21 January, the second part of Hilda Kamdron’s (1900–1972) Tartu-themed drawings will be on display in the project space of the Kumu Art Museum. Dating back to the 1960s, this collection depicts the construction of the modernist Annelinn district in Tartu.

350,000 art lovers visited the Art Museum of Estonia last year

During Niguliste Organ Week, the museum will host beautiful music, a visit to the organ balcony and exciting lectures

Latin American art exhibition at the Kumu Art Museum closes with Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations
Kumu Art MuseumThe large-scale exhibition of Latin American art is open for the last few days at the Kumu Art Museum. Starting from today, a traditional Mexican Day of the Dead altar – ofrenda – is on display in the Kumu Atrium as part of the exhibition’s closing programme. The main events will take place on Saturday, 2 November, while the exhibition and the altar will remain open until Sunday, 3 November.
