The Art Museum of Estonia is marking the Song and Dance Celebration week with special guided tours across all five of its branches: Kumu Art Museum, Niguliste Museum, Kadriorg Art Museum, Mikkel Museum, and Adamson-Eric.

On July 2–4, each museum will host two special short tours daily: at 1 p.m. in English and at 3 p.m. in Estonian.

These 30-minute guided tours take you right to the heart of Estonian and European art history. Explore the cornerstones of Estonian art history at Kumu, and experience the extraordinary Dance of Death at the Niguliste Museum, Bernt Notke’s timeless masterpiece that captivates every viewer, inviting reflection on life, death, and the eternal. At the Kadriorg Art Museum, admire the work of the Baroque master Bernardo Strozzi, featured in our most prominent exhibition of foreign art this year. The tour at the Adamson-Eric Museum offers a glimpse into the richly creative world of Adamson-Eric, Estonia’s most versatile modernist and the museum’s namesake. And at the Mikkel Museum, explore Art Addiction, a vivid, joyful and thought-provoking exhibition of contemporary Estonian art, featuring highlights from Reigo Kuivjõgi’s collection.

These tours are designed for everyone – whether you’re discovering Estonian art for the first time, revisiting old favourites, or simply seeking a moment of inspiration in your day.

Special experiences on July 5 and 6:
At 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. “Walk on the Rooftops” tour at Kumu
At 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. views from the terrace of Kadriorg Palace

At the Niguliste Museum, a glass lift takes you up to the tower during opening hours, offering breathtaking views of the medieval city and the sea – all from the comfort of a sheltered, wind-free observation deck.

For dancers and singers, who participate in the Song and Dance Celebration:
From 30 June to 6 July, the Song and Dance Celebration’s wristband entitles you to discounted admission to all branches of the Art Museum of Estonia.
