Arashk Azizi is an Iranian composer and pianist of classical music, based in Tallinn. The Kadriorg concert is going to be his 3rd official concert in Tallinn in which he will perform his
Piano Sonata in G minor “Rooftops” for the first time in public along with a performance of his first piano sonata in C minor “The Day Silence Began”.
Arashk’s compositions always have a narrative storytelling quality. By listening to his compositions, you can feel the dramatic movement of the music and enjoy it as you’d enjoy a
story.
Azizi’s music is categorized as classic, though he is under the influence of contemporary,
late-romantic, neo-classic, and rock music. The melodic and harmonic progression of his works
is clearly showing the influence of middle eastern music.
