Two-day botanical illustration course for adults.
23 September and 24 September from 11 am to 4 pm
Instructor: Aet Alev-Kilg (member of the Dutch Botanical Artists’ Union).
The course will be held in Estonian. Instruction is also possible in English.
This botanical illustration course is meant for those who have an interest in nature and its depictions in drawing. Prior experience in drawing is not required but would certainly be useful. The two-day course will focus on introducing the basics of classic botanical illustration. All drawing tools will be available on-site.
Participants will acquire basic knowledge of botanical drawing and will complete the course with beautiful self-made works of art.
It is advisable for participants who use glasses for reading or drawing to bring their glasses as well as a magnifying glass, if possible, to be able to inspect the object of drawing in close detail.
