Come to Kumu on Mother’s Day!
Celebrate Mother’s Day in the Kumu Art Museum! On Mother’s Day, we would like to invite mothers with their families or friends to Kumu, where they can explore five different exhibitions, ranging from Estonian art heritage to Italian Transavantgarde, or participate in activities for adults and children.
The Family Morning programme involves searching for amazing natural patterns hidden in the exhibition halls and creating a world of colourful fragments. The special Mother’s Day tour of the permanent exhibition Landscapes of Identity: Estonian Art 1700–1945 will focus on mother and woman motifs in classic Estonian art.
Programme
From 12 to 1:30 pm: Family Morning Worlds of Pattern at the exhibition Elisarion: Elisàr von Kupffer and Jaanus Samma. Andrus Roos, in Estonian
At 3 pm: Mother’s Day special tour at the permanent exhibition Landscapes of Identity. Eva-Erle Lilleaed, in Estonian
In addition, all visitors can explore Kumu’s permanent exhibitions independently with the help of the worksheet Explore Kumu’s Permanent Exhibitions, which can be found at the ticket office on the 2nd floor of Kumu or digitally here.
