Painting copies is a method of studying with a long tradition which artists have used to acquire their skills. Museums have been the main places for such copying. During the five-part course at the Kumu art studio, participants will become familiar with the theoretical and practical principles of copy painting. Oil paints are used for details or for the whole image following painterly techniques of the original artwork. The course contains individual supervision and will take place at the exhibitions on display at Kumu.
On the days of the course, exhibitions can be visited free of charge!
The course will be held in Estonian, but English translation is possible.
