Guided tour in Hungarian: Kadriorg Palace and exhibition of Spanish landscapes

The guided tour in Hungarian by intern curator Noémi Kulasák will introduce the history of the Kadriorg Palace and temporary exhibition “España Blanca y Negra: Visions of Spain from Fortuny to Picasso”.

The Kadriorg Palace was designed by the Italian architect Nicola Michetti, and its ornate main hall is one of the most exquisite examples of Baroque architecture both in Estonia and in northern Europe.

The exhibition “España Blanca y Negra: Visions of Spain from Fortuny to Picasso” is dedicated to the depiction of Spain and includes romantic views of Spain, as well as masterpieces by the grand masters of Modernism. Buoyant and sunny, or dark and tragic, the “whiteness” and “blackness” of the quintessence of Spain are revealed through magnificent works of art.
