Kumu anniversary
On 15 and 16 February, the Kumu Art Museum will celebrate its 14th anniversary! On that weekend, Kumu’s friends are invited to participate in exhibition tours, the sale of art books and designs, creative workshops and lots more exciting events. Come and spend a memorable weekend at the museum!
Sunday, 16 February
12 noon to 4 pm: market of art books and designs in the Kumu atrium
12 noon – 4 pm: drawing workshop for children
12 noon – 1:30 pm: Russian-language Brave Heroes family morning in the Treasury permanent exhibition
1 pm – 2:30 pm: caricature workshop at the Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art exhibition

3:00 pm – 5:00 pm kimchi-workshop with the artist Eva Mustonen
3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: English-language tour of the new permanent exhibition: The Future is in One Hour: Estonian Art in the 1990s
5:00 pm – 6:30 pm: Evening of feminist literature at the exhibitions Do Come in, the Door is Open! Edith Karlson, Mary Reid Kelley and Eva Mustonen and Creating the Self: Emancipating Woman in Estonian and Finnish Art.

During the anniversary week of 10-16 February, students can visit Kumu for free upon presenting their student IDs!
In addition, anniversary discounts apply on both days at the Kumu Museum Shop and the Reval Café!
On 16 February, the museum is open until 8 pm.
