The title speaks for itself – this year’s anniversary celebrations. It’s quite amazing how different and wonderful music from the same era can be. Since the concert date coincides with Handel’s birthday, the main emphasis is on his music. However, the concert will feature vocal and instrumental chamber music by all three composers.
The early music studio Cantores Vagantes has been operating since 1989. The studio brings together musicians who play early music using the copies of original instruments and respecting historical performance practices. The members of the studio are not exactly fixed – it can be considered as a circle of friends of professionals, where the number of players depends on the demands of the music.
