Museum Night “A Book in the Night” at Adamson-Eric museum

For art and poetry lovers! On Museum Night, 17 May from 6–11 pm, the Adamson-Eric Museum’s permanent exhibition Adamson-Eric: Modernism and Diversity will be open.

Visitors can test their creativity by making exciting connections between different forms of our cultural heritage: in the exhibition hall, a playful challenge will involve linking fragments of poetry with moody Adamson-Eric paintings.

If the weather is nice, we will invite you to the museum’s lovely courtyard, where you can relax, swing and let your thoughts wander. Families and children will find a magnetic board where they can create fun haikus or poems by combining words. The prize for poetry-loving participants will be beautiful bookmarks.

Visitors can also visit the Portuguese-style azulejo workshop in the museum’s art cellar, where they can try their hand at painting paper azulejos using stencils. The completed works can be hung on a common wall.
