Finissage of the exhibition From Memling to Rubens: The Golden Age of Flanders
Two exhibitions of Netherlandish art from the collection of the The Phoebus Foundation – From Memling to Rubens: The Golden Age of Flanders at the Kadriorg Art Museum and Crazy about Dymphna at the Niguliste Museum – will be open until 28 November. The finissage of the exhibitions will continue for several days and will include several public events in the two museums.
A large-scale public programme will take place on Saturday 27 November:
12 noon to 4 pm “Don’t Tease the Elf” workshop. Make your own jester and/or elf. On the second floor in the banquet hall.
12 noon and 3 pm “From Ruler to Jester”: playful children’s tour in Estonian. Duration 30 min
1 pm “From Ruler to Jester”: playful children’s tour in Russian. Duration 30 min
2 pm and 4 pm Tour of the exhibition in Estonian.
2 pm and 4 pm Tour of the exhibition in Russian.
5 pm Tour of the exhibition in English with the art historian Niels Schalley (The Phoebus Foundation)
Participation in workshops, children’s tours and regular tours included in the price of the ticket
6 pm Formal concert in the main hall for From Memling to Rubens
Performance by the Hortus Musicus ensemble, artistic director Andres Mustonen.
Organised by Estonian Concert. Tickets available from Piletilevi, the Estonian Concert box office and on site one hour before the concert.
The concert ticket is also valid for entry to the museum on the same day.
The sale of museum tickets will be suspended during the concert.
