Open workshop New Life for a Found Object, in collaboration with the social enterprise Sõbralt Sõbrale (From Friend to Friend).

The final programme related to Urmas Lüüs’s exhibition “The Life and Death of Mr. N” includes a workshop in which second-hand objects will be given new life as accessories. The exhibition, created in the format of a house museum, urges viewers to pay attention not only to extraordinary objects but also to everyday items and to take an interest in what happens to them. At nearly every guided tour of the exhibition led by the artist he has referred to the fact that the majority of the lamps and furniture used in the interior were acquired from the second-hand stores of Sõbralt Sõbrale. Hand-me-down objects have unique qualities which they tend to retain even when their functions change. Workshop participants will have access to smaller objects and some fascinating materials, which they can turn into accessories according to their own designs. Participants can also bring their own materials if they wish.
