Short tour: A glimpse into the fascinating art world of the 20th century
Step into the vibrant world of 20th-century art with a guided tour at the Adamson-Eric Museum this July. These insightful tours offer more than just a look at the artworks – they deepen your understanding of the era and reveal the broader historical and cultural context behind the multi-faceted legacy of Adamson-Eric, one of Estonia’s most celebrated artists. Spanning over four decades, his rich and varied oeuvre captures the evolution of Estonian painting and decorative arts.
During the Estonian Song and Dance Celebration week, the branches of the Art Museum of Estonia invite visitors to special tours. From July 2 to July 4, each of the five museums will offer two engaging short tours every day: at 1 p.m. in English and 3 p.m. in Estonian. From July 5 to July 6, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., you’ll also have a rare chance to visit the roof terraces of the museums.
From 30 June to 6 July, the Song and Dance Celebration’s wristband entitles you to discounted admission to all branches of the Art Museum of Estonia.
