Tallinn Chamber Choir “Reflections of Spring”

The concert program weaves together sacred and secular music from different eras and styles. The audience will experience the meditative soundscapes of Arvo Pärt, the deeply expressive sacred songs of Alfred Schnittke, and the poetic harmonies of Tõnu Kõrvits.

Conductor: Heli Jürgenson

The music of English composer Charles Villiers Stanford adds a touch of classical choral lyricism, while Estonian composers Ester Mägi and Mart Saar bring in elements of folk music and a deep connection to nature. Founded in 1962, Tallinn Chamber Choir is one of Estonia’s leading choirs, bringing together singers from various professions who are dedicated to high-quality choral music. Originally an experimental choir, it is now renowned for its masterful performances of both contemporary and classical repertoire.
