“From Spain to Estonia” – IBEROFEST

As a closing concert for the festival IBEROFEST, the Tallinn International Youth Orchestra returns. This concert will be lead by the Canarian conductor and new TIYO artistic director, Eladio Aguilar and with the special collaboration of Heljä Viirakivi as soloist.
This orchestra was created with the goal of gather some friends and play music. Under the baton of Alvaro Gómez, the orchestra was developing and was established as a part of the Estonian music picture. After several years inactive, TIYO starts a new period. The final aim is to establish the orchestra as the youth orchestra of Tallinn and Estonia. Open for young people who wants to play in a professional environment and don’t have the opportunity to do it. The base of this project is to achieve different concerts per year, be part of national and internationals festivals in Estonia, to offer masterclasses and workshops with some international and Estonian musicians, travelling and playing as guest orchestra in different places around Europe….
