It examines the relationship between the Soviet state and art, most vividly illustrated by the post-war Socialist Realism display. In the subsequent presentation of art styles and movements, the exhibition offers insights into various artistic phenomena of the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s (modernism, pop art, hyperrealism, etc.), while also paying attention to developments in the national painting school and graphic arts.
