The concert program is motivated by the desire to offer comfort at a time when the world is horrified by the horrors of war. The performance will include works by composers from both the 16th and 21st centuries, who in their music express human suffering according to their era, be it Lang’s minimalistic meditation or Dowland’s melancholy “Flow, my tears”, the title piece of the concert. Tumult Ensemble is a choir from Tallinn, founded in the spring of 2024 by Dutch conductor Lodewijk van der Ree and composer Evelin Seppar.
