POSTPONED! Copying Paintings Course at a Kumu exhibition

The course will be held in Estonian, but English translation is possible.

Copying paintings is a traditional learning method for artists to hone their skills. The copying mostly takes place in museums. During the five-part course of the Kumu Art Studio, you will get to know the theory and practice of copying a painting. You will be using oil paints to paint a detail or a whole composition, adopting a technique similar to the original. The course will include individual instruction. Painting will take place at a Kumu exhibition.

This five-part course will last for 20 academic hours.

Instructor: Malle-Reet Heidelberg

Price: €115 (reduced price €105), includes painting supplies, except for the canvas.

Course dates: 3 Sept, 10 Sept, 17 Sept, 24 Sept, and 1 Oct from 16.30 to 20.00

On the days of the course, the participants can visit the exhibitions free of charge.
