Estonian Radio Girls’ Choir consists of 30 girls at the age of 13-18. Choir’s repertoire ranges from medieval music to contemporary works, folk programs with choreography and pop-jazz music. Girls have toured both in Estonia and abroad: Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, UK and USA. Since 2007 they have participated in all Estonian Song Celebrations.
Girls’ choir has given several concerts in co-operation with professional concert agencies and festival organiser (Eesti Kontsert, Viru Folk, Jazzkaar etc) and also participated in charity projects. They regularly record for Estonian Radio and Estonian Television and have premiered choral works of several Estonian composers (René Eespere, Tõnis Kaumann, Riho Esko Maimets, Margo Kõlar, Kadri Hunt).
