Exhibition programme “Own Face”
A vibrant exhibition visit for groups of friends, birthday parties and work colleagues. During the visit, the supervisor of the programme will lead a guided tour of the exhibition “Lembit Sarapuu: Reality and Actuality”, introducing the original and naive painterly style of the artist.
Sarapuu painted simple landscapes, nudes and portraits, but also used mythological themes while focusing on allegorical, ironic and witty depictions of everyday life and human existence. The exhibition offers an overview of Sarapuu’s creative experiments through six decades.
After the exhibition visit, the participants can test their skills in the Kumu studio by painting portraits inspired by the works of Lembit Sarapuu. The workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
