Finissage of the exhibition Crazy about Dymphna
Two exhibitions of Netherlandish art from the collection of the The Phoebus Foundation – Crazy about Dymphna at the Niguliste Museum and From Memling to Rubens: The Golden Age of Flanders at the Kadriorg Art Museum – will be open until 28 November. The finissage of the exhibitions will continue for several days and will include several public events in the two museums.
A large-scale public programme will take place on Saturday 27 November:
1 pm Tour of the exhibition in English with the art historian Niels Schalley (The Phoebus Foundation)
2 pm Tour of the exhibition in English with the conservator Sven Van Dorst (head of the conservation studio of the Phoebus Foundation)
3 pm Lecture in Estonian. Anu Rae: About the history of mental illness in Medieval and Early Modern Europe
4 pm Organ music half an hour
1 pm to 3 pm Workshop for children
