Kristi Kongi: Chromatic Drift through the Eyes of a Museum Insider
Throughout Kumu’s anniversary summer, the painter Kristi Kongi’s large-scale and richly colourful solo exhibition Chromatic Drift in the Great Hall will also be open on Mondays. All summer long, on Mondays, staff members of the Kumu Art Museum and the Art Museum of Estonia will introduce the exhibition, highlighting its concept and main themes in 15-minute talks from the perspective of their professional roles. These short introductions offer an excellent opportunity to discover the diverse roles within the museum, and serve as an engaging starting point for exploring the exhibition on your own. How does a conservator, collection manager, curator, communications specialist or the director of Kumu interpret Kristi Kongi’s exhibition? Come and find out at the short guided tour!
English-language introductions take place from 1 to 1:15 pm, and Estonian-language introductions from 3 to 3:15 pm. The meeting point is in the exhibition hall by the introductory text.
Participation is free with an annual pass to the Art Museum of Estonia or the Kumu Art Museum.
