Painting a model

Course dates: 14.04 & 21.04 16.30–19.30
The instructor is Malle-Reet Heidelberg, an artist and painting restorer.

The course will be held in Estonian, but English translation is possible.

During the two-part painting course, the students will learn how to paint a portrait of a model. Painting a person may seem difficult, but that’s what makes it exciting. The painting is done with oil paints, which means that everything can be changed and redone. Beginners will be introduced to the basics of painting with oil paints, and during a group tour of the museum, will observe and draw inspiration from the portraits exhibited in Kumu.
All of the necessary supplies are available in the studio.

Visiting the exhibitions is free on the day of the class!
