Old Town Days. Guitar Concerts: Erik Leedjärv

The museum’s cozy courtyard will become a meeting place during the Tallinn Old Town Days, featuring a pop-up art café inspired by the work of Adamson-Eric and short live music concerts. Guitarist Erik Leedjärv will perform solo guitar programs.

The short concerts will take place  6 at 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.

The concert program features a diverse selection of beautiful Baroque dances, soothing sounds from the Classical era, exciting South American rhythms, and intriguing soundscapes from contemporary music.

Erik Leedjärv began his guitar studies at Nõo Music School under the guidance of Vaido Petser. After a break of several years, he continued his studies at Heino Eller Music School, where his teacher was Peep Peterson. Since 2022, Erik has been studying guitar in the Performance Pedagogy program at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the instruction of Heiki Mätlik. Erik is particularly passionate about performing Baroque, South American, and contemporary music, and enjoys challenging himself with rhythmically engaging works and painting tonal colors on the guitar.

The event is part of the program of the 44th Tallinn Old Town Days. Admission to the courtyard events is free of charge; museum tickets are required for exhibitions and curator tours.

See you at the Adamson-Eric Museum!
