Concert is part of the finissage programme of the exhibition „Zuloaga. Soul of Spain“ (Mikkel Museum). Dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationsip between Estonia and Spain.

Miguel Trápaga was born in Cantabria in 1967. He studied at the “Ataúlfo Argenta” conservatories in Santander and at the Real Superior Conservatory of Music in Madrid with Javier Canduela and Demetrio Ballesteros. He has attended masterclasses from José Tomás, Miguel Ángel Girollet, Manuel Estévez, José Luis Rodrigo, David Russell, Leo Brouwer and Gerardo Arriaga. He awarded with prizes in the following contests among others: XVI International Guitar Competition “Andrés Segovia, Palma de Mallorca, 1993; III Great Lakes Guitar Competition, Oberlin – Ohio, 1994 and in the XII International Solo Guitar Competition (Guitar Foundation of America), Quebec, 1994.
He has recorded for Radio Nacional de España, Antena 2 de Portugal, ABC de Australia, BBC … as well as six compact discs.
He is currently a guitar professor at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and regularly teaches advanced courses in Spain and abroad. He has offered concerts in halls and theaters in many countries of Europe and Latin America Japan, United States and Canada. He has performed with the Moscow String Quartet, the mezzo-soprano Lola Casariego, the soprano Cecilia Lavilla Berganza, the violinist Alexander Detisov and, as a soloist, with numerous orchestras such as the Orquesta Fundarte de Porto Alegre, Thailand Philarmonic Orchestra, Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, City of Gijón Orchestra, Madrid.
