Physics in Art
A fun group visit to the museum for friends, birthday guests or colleagues. The programme starts with a tour of the exhibition Broken Symmetries to see how international artists have interpreted the fascinating world of particle physics. All artworks on display have been inspired by the authors’ residencies in the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN). The exhibition is a collaboration project with a number of research institutions. After the tour, participants will move on to the Kumu studio for a workshop. In the workshop the participants will create a cosmos-inspired abstract painting using acrylic pouring techniques.
The workshop is suitable for participants over 10 years of age.
