Hong Kong pianist Stanley Wong will perform a sparkling and delightful program including the glowing jewels of Mozart’s late work “Duport Variations”, Chopin’s masterful Scherzo no.4 which known for its mercurial brilliance and whimsy. Wong will also give two Estonian premiere of contemporary classical works by Polina Nazaykinskaya and Carol Worthey. Polina’s symphonic “Sparks” explores the marvel of our universe and its infinite variety while Carol’s delicious “Ice Cream Sweet”, similar structure to Mussorgsky’s Pictures at An Exhibition, turning 8 flavors of ice cream into waltz, toccata, fugue, nocturne… making the suite a whole CELEBRATION of Ice Cream, Joy-bringer to Mankind!
