Seasons of Piano Music. Fall Concert. Madis Sikk
The fall concert will be performed by Madis Sikk, winner of a Special Prize at the 10th Estonian Pianists’ Competition.

Madis Sikk (b. 2006) began studying piano in 2016 at Tallinn Music School in Riina Maandi’s piano class. Largely inspired by Mihkel Poll’s master class, his interest in music grew, and he continued his studies in December 2020 at the Tallinn Music High School under the guidance of Marja Jürisson and Mihkel Poll. Madis is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in piano at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater. He has furthered his studies at various international master classes, including those led by Gintaras Januševičius, Dmitri Aleksejev (Royal College of Music, London), Daejin Kim (Korean National University of Arts), and Hui-Ying Liu-Tawaststjerna (Sibelius Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki).
Madis Sikk has won several prizes at competitions such as the “Riga International Competition for Young Pianists,” “Eesti kõla,” “Best Young Instrumentalist,” and “Tallinn Talent.” At the 10th Estonian Pianists’ Competition, Madis received a finalist diploma and special prizes from the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra, the Pärnu City Orchestra, and the Estonian Piano Teachers’ Association’s “Future Hope” award. Madis Sikk is a laureate of the 2025 Helmi Valtman Scholarship Competition.
In addition to classical music, Madis is actively involved in jazz and is honing his skills in this field under the guidance of Kristjan Randalu. Madis Sikk is a member of the Estonian Jazz Union.
