Taplow Youth Choir (UK)
Taplow Youth Choir is in demand at many events and collaborations. Membership is drawn from over twenty schools across the Thames Valley and South Buckinghamshire, and generally covers an age range of 13-19 years. Its members are serious and motivated musicians, with many playing instruments to a high standard. Repertoire covers several centuries and different styles of music, both sacred and secular.
The choir sings Choral Evensong annually in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle and our Upper Voices performed there recently in another event – a concert to celebrate the work of much loved and renowned composer, John Rutter. Our young singers worked with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and The Bach Choir, and John Rutter conducted. In May he has invited Taplow Choirs to open the World Education Forum for Education Ministers from across the globe, at the QEll Centre in Westminster.
