The enchantment of Mikkel
The experience programme “The Enchantment of Mikkel” includes a visit to the Mikkel Museum’s permanent exhibition and a creative workshop. The programme is perfect for a group of friends, a birthday party or a team event.
The programme starts with a tour of the permanent exhibition at the Mikkel Museum, where you can see paintings and ceramics from the Johannes Mikkel collection. The programme guide will tell stories of how the works came to be part of the Mikkel collection and explain the history, purpose and production methods of the objects. Special attention will be paid to the Oriental porcelain.
Inspired by the tour, participants will be able to continue the oriental theme and learn how to make paper in a creative workshop. Afterwards, they can create greeting cards, bookmarks or eye-catching ornaments out of the paper they have just made. The workshop is suitable for all levels of participants.
