The Seasons of Piano Music. Spring concert. Havryil Sydoryk

The Niguliste Museum will start a new concert series for young pianists, “The Seasons of Piano Music”. Each season will feature one young, exceptionally promising Estonian pianist who is still pursuing their studies. The aim of the series is to offer young performers the opportunity to play on the museum’s excellent new grand piano and to perform in its beautiful historical interior.
The first concert will be given by the young Ukrainian-born pianist Havryil Sydoryk.

Havryil Sydoryk is a 16-year-old composer and multi-instrumentalist of Ukrainian origin. Besides the piano, he plays the violin and harpsichord, and is an active presence in early music performances. He is currently studying at the Tallinn School of Music and Ballet. In 2025, Havryil won first place in Klassikatähed, the Estonian Public Broadcasting competition for young performers, which has launched a number of prominent Estonian musical careers.

Programme:

Johann Sebastian Bach – Fantasy and Fugue in A minor; Ludwig van Beethoven – Piano Sonata No. 26 “Les Adieux”; Frédéric Chopin – Scherzo No. 4 and original compositions by the pianist

The concert is organised by the Niguliste Museum in cooperation with the NGO Kammermuusikud.
