15-year-old wallflower Charlie is socially awkward and perpetually watches life from the sidelines until he meets the older Samantha and Patrick and embarks on a year filled with new experiences. Published in 1999 before being adapted for film in 2012, Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower touches on all of the elements of the roller coaster that is the teenage experience: friendship, family, love, sexuality, drugs, trauma and loss. Starring Emma Watson and featuring Paul Rudd, this film is a coming-of-age cult classic.

Entrance free of charge.
