Jan Friedrich Richter’s tour on the exhibition Michel Sittow in the North?

Join a guided tour in German of the exhibition Michel Sittow in the North? Altarpieces on Dialogue  is led by Dr Jan Friedrich Richter, an art historian and curator at the Berlin State Museums. Together with Merike Kurisoo, Greta Koppel and Lars Nylander, he curated the exhibition.

Dr Jan Friedrich Richter will introduce the exhibition, as well focus on the late medieval art of the Baltic Sea region and Tallinn as an emerging art centre in the early 16th century.

On the first Saturday in May, members of the international curatorial team of the exhibition Michel Sittow in the North? will present the display in their native languages. Greta Koppel and Merike Kurisoo will present the exhibition in Estonian, Jan Friedrich Richter in German and Lars Nylander in Swedish. An art and craft workshop will be open to children and families, and the day will end with organ music at 16:00.
