The exhibition brings together the works of Elisàr von Kupffer (1872–1942), an artist with a Baltic-German background, and of the Estonian artist Jaanus Samma (1982).

The artist Jaanus Samma’s first comprehensive monograph Flow of Patterns will be launched in Estonia at the Kumu Art Museum

‘Ben Miller, a writer and historian based in Berlin, is visiting Kumu to discuss Elisàr von Kupffer’s complicated place in queer art history.
