Medieval Ecclesiastical Art in the Small Chapel
The exhibition space on the two floors of the Small Chapel features medieval sculptures and smaller altarpieces from the Art Museum of Estonia collection. The permanent display includes 13th–16th-century artworks from Estonian churches. The brand-new gallery on the upper floor was designed to echo the church’s historical interior balconies. The medieval staircase leading to the gallery was once used to access the congregation pews on the balcony and the small organ.
