According to the chief executive officer of the Art Museum of Estonia, Sirje Helme, the increase in visitor numbers is the result of the dedication of the entire museum staff.
For the seventh year in a row, the Christmas tree on display at the Niguliste Museum will be decorated by the interior decoration company Shishi. As has become customary, the theme of the Christmas tree will not be revealed until the lighting ceremony.

The exhibition explores the story and meaning of the magical unicorn and opens up a wider world of fictional and fantastic creatures.
In Livonia, just like in the rest of Europe, pilgrimages formed an intrinsic part of medieval life. This exhibition, which provides an overview of the phenomenon, is the first opportunity for the public to see the majority of currently known Estonian and Latvian material artefacts, as well as the textual and artistic legacy, of Livonian pilgrimages.
