Lecture or talk

This workshop calls to discuss the art world’s green transition in a creative and at the same time critical manner and explore it across disciplines – inviting professionals and students from art and design, conservation, curating and museology and related fields.

A conversation with the artist Evy Jokhova about traditional food technologies will be followed by a performance – a procession for food preservation.

Lecture with the main emphasis on the post-World War II period, when art collecting became a second profession for many scientists, doctors and academics.

A public lecture on Bernardo Strozzi, the most famous painter from Genoa.

The discussion will be moderated by the art historian and cultural theorist Margaret Tali and will be held in English.

An artist talk with Maria Kapajeva will take place at Kumu’s new exhibition “Maria Kapayeva. Loose Photos, Odds and Ends”. The discussion will be moderated by the visual artist and photographer Aap Tepper.
